at 1:08 PM earlier this afternoon, i received this text message from noel: "Thank you so much for evrything. Tom & I appreciate your generosity, graciousness & friendship. Mawawala na ang cell fone ko. I'll give it to my sister this PM so thank you once again. Hugs. This trip was more enjoyable in part bec of u two." i didn't see and read his text at once until 2:00 PM.... at which time i responded with: "You're welcome. As i've said, you can thank us by coming home more often! We enjoy it a lot being with you guys! If you still need to contact us, use our landline no. 53_-____. Take care. Have a safe and nice trip home. Let's keep in touch via chat. Bye." i didn't receive any response from my text... so that means that maybe he's given his fone to his sister.... which means he wasn't able to read my text.... that's why i'm reproducing it here. it is always sad when friends from abroad leave and go home. tomorrow, noel and tom will leave for new york. we can only hope that they come back more often!!!

I actually read your response before I gave my cell to my sis. Thank you much once again. You guys have been so generous and we had a lot of fun with you. I enjoyed every restaurant we ate in, every dish we had, every museum. Thanks you also for attending the wedding with me. I miss the laughs. Although it was one wedding and a funeral, there were lots of laughs in between. Tom appreciates everything that you've done for us while we were there. Wish you and Jon would be able to come to New York someday. I've been reading your blog entries by the way. Stay well!
