Remembering Tess....

i have just opened the messages in the yahoogroup of our Class 79 of the University of the Philippines, College of Veterinary Medicine. not surprisingly, all of the recent messages are about Tess..... and i find it fitting to repost those messages here.... in honor of our dear friend and classmate!

I join everyone in offering prayers for Tess, may she rest in peace. Let us all remember her for what she has become to each and everyoneof us. To me she was an inspiration, a brave and happy spirit who, despite her sad fate, was the one comforted us...with her faith, herstrength and her positive outlook, carrying and moving on despite theodds. I was glad to have had the opportunity to get to know her a bitmore during our reunion in 04 when she shared some chapters of herlife. I was impressed not only by her success but by her generosityas well. I have known that our own college became a beneficiary ofsome of her goodwill projects. She had even given her contribution toour Project Tiles. Before we parted ways at the reunion, she gave away some gifts - someangel figurines. She said then that she always has a soft spot forangels, for they have always figured in her life, always being thereto save her. Amongst the figurines she had at the time, I chose asmiling girl angel who is happily playing a small string instrument. Ibrought it back home and placed it in a special place in our loungeroom...it would always remind me of our dear Tess. Farewell, classmate, I know angels have finally brought you home!

With all our love,

Cynthia and Lando

This is indeed sad news. She had plans to visit the East Coast come spring time. Praying for the repose of her soul.

I am so sorry to hear about Tess. I thought she was doing okay. She even sent me holiday greetings via text last Christmas. Not sure if Dolly is back. Maybe we can send some flowers.
