when one is in the store every single day, there comes a spot in the store that becomes one's favorite....for me, i guess it's anywhere as long as the coca-cola cooler is in the background!!!
after all, i'm not a self-confessed coke (light) addict for nothing!!!

nope, we only sell coke products 'coz they're basically the most popular and most saleable soft drinks hereabouts!!!
besides, coca-cola bottlers was once owned by the San Miguel Corporation, which also owns Monterey Foods Corp....so, in the past all monterey meatshops only carry coke products....and we are just continuing this practice.
in our teens, i remember when the litro bottle of soft drinks first came out in the Philippines. i don't know whether it was Coke or Pepsi which made it first to the public, all i know that it was on a December. first time i bought one, i didn't open or drink it all--i was saving the bottle because of its novetly. those were the happy days i treasure and makes me smile even if i'm thousand miles from my homeland.
yes diko...it was a coke...the first time that the "family size" coke went on the market, each of us bought a bottle....it was worth 40 centavos then or P0.40....now a coke litro costs P36.00!!!...that was sometime in 1963...or about 44 years ago....i remember well because i was in grade 2 then....for days i didn't drink my bottle too 'coz it i felt the "humongous" bottle with contents inside looked so fascinating!!!....those were indeed happy times!!!
