monterey foods corp. has a special ceremony known as the "meat-cutting". here, the franchisee/s cuts a specially-prepared piece of meat with the help of monterey officers and special guests. when the meat is cut, it reveals on its cut surface the letter "M" - signifying the official opening for business of the monterey neighborhood meatshop (nms)!!!
