A Good Night's Sleep....
last night, i had an early and a good night's sleep....something that i haven't had lately. technically, it wasn't just a good night's sleep....but a good night's "double" sleeps!!! how so? i went to sleep the first time before 10:00 pm....(i usually sleep past 1:00 am....sometimes after 3:30 am!!!).....so, that could be considered early. however, i woke up at 12:00 midnight and couldn't go back to sleep again....i watched the "End Day" on Discovery Channel, finished it, then was sleepy again....i went to sleep again a little past 1:00 am and woke up on my regular waking time....so, there....two good night's sleep in one night!!! the reason for "them" good sleeps?.....we had the split type air con cleaned and the room was sooooo freaking cold!!! reminded me of winter night sleeps that i miss so much!!!
or maybe, the second good night sleep was due to the show i watched.... "End Day" is about 3 possible scenarios that may cause the end of the world. it was presented similar to the movie "Groundhog Day" except that each day ends with the end of the world. the story starts with a physicist-scientist in London waking up to the alarm. he has to go to New York that morning to be part of a scientific experiment - the running of a particle generator that is supposed to mimic the "big bang" that created our universe.

in the first story, while the scientist was on the way to New York, there was a breaking story on BBC about the sighting of a big meteor that is about to hit earth. several nuclear warheads were fired towards the meteor to break it up to pieces....however, they only succeeded in breaking the big meteor into several "small" pieces but there remained a big chunk that hit the city of berlin and supposedly sent shock & dust waves all over the world....much like the time the dinosaur went extinct.
in the second story, while the scientist was on the way to New York, there was a breaking story on BBC about the finding of a dead passenger on a plane that has just landed in Heathrow Airport. the plane originated from Asia where there is supposedly a flu-like epidemic going on that has killed hundred of thousands. all of the other passengers in the plane have already disembarked and they were spreading the infection all over Britain. death was swift to those who get infected and so several neighborhoods in London were under quarantine. because of this, the scientist's plane was not allowed to take off because the US government banned flights to the US from London.
in the third and final story, while the scientis was on the way to New York, there was a breaking story on BBC about numerous demonstrators at the site of the particle generator experiment....they were against the experiment because some scientists have said that there is a possibility that a "strangelet".....or a very miniscule "black hole" may be produced. the British scientist found his way to the site where the experiment was to be conducted. he held the other key that would start the experiment....he turned the key, there were explosions all around....next thing we see is a small black hole eating up the site, buildings and all including the demonstrators, the city, the whole planet!!!
yeah! i had a good night's sleep last night!!!
