A simple family affair....

last night, we had a great time celebrating the birthday of my niece Gwen. it was just a simple party....made more memorable by the presence of some of my first cousins....gwen's aunts and uncle-in-law from mommy's side. Doris, a practicing nurse from california was there. she's here to accompany Ima Unday back to the US where Ima will be celebrating her 80th birthday next year. Doris' eldest sister, Nene, and her hubby, Wency, were also there. Ate Tessie and Baby, Kakang Migring's daughters were also there.

actually, the party was supposed to be just for the immediate family...including Gwen's and Gail's bfs....but since there was no other time i could meet up with Doris (they're leaving on Saturday.), i requested that we just meet in Quezon City. good thing there were enough food for everybody!!!

as for the food....we had lechong manok, pancit malabon, puto, buko salad, pao tsin fried dumplings, and mocha cake, of course! hmmmmmm...yummy....i was so full....we even had take homes!!!
