Through the Decades - The 1950's
i first saw the light during the 50's.....not that i have a memory of that event.....but i suppose the place i was born in was well-lit!!! hehehehehe.
i don't remember anything from this decade though, since i spent only 3 years during this decade.....all i have to prove that i've been there are pictures....like this one. isn't this the cutest pic!!! in those days there were no colored pics yet....they're either in black & white or sepia taken with big, humongous cameras with negative films in glass plates....and manually developed and printed in photo papers in dark rooms using several chemicals....
now, we have digital cameras that take and convert pics into photos of any color....even sepia!!!....

Yeah! i agree...old photos bring out a different type of feelings in me too. if they're old photos of me or my family, they bring out the emotions i felt, the sights, even the odours i smelled when the photos were taken. if they're old photos of someone else, my mind and my heart make up stories of what may have happened while the photos were taken. that's the special charm of old photos for me!
