It's Christmas..... and I'm Sooooo Very Happy (PART 2)

to continue with my "lost" blog.....

DECEMBER 24, 2006, SUNDAY
i woke up still groaning from my toothache.... it's doubly painful now and the first thing on my mind when i awoke was to find a dentist who'll take me out of my misery.... by any means possible!!!....i don't care.... death would be a welcome release if that is the only option!!! (a little dramatic moment here!!!)....
as soon as jon came home from work..... yes! he had work today!!!.... we left immediately to look for a dentist who'll be at work today. we passed by the clinic of a nearby dentist but it was closed. next, we went to the Robinson's Pioneer Mall because i know for a fact that there is a dental clinic there. sure enough, the clinic was open, however, the dentist won't be in until 3:00 PM! before leaving Robinson's Pioneer Mall, we bought ham, keso de bola, tasty bread, and soda for tonight's Noche Buena with my family at Quezon City.

we left Robinson's and went to SM Megamall. out of the 4 dental clinics there, three were open...... one is an orthodontist's clinic and mainly caters to clients who want braces put in. the other two were open but the dentists were not coming in.... they just remained open so they won't have to pay a penalty fee for being closed while all the other stalls in the mall were open!!!.... what a scam!!!

by the time we inquired at the 4th clinic, it was already close to 1:00 PM..... and so, we decided to go back to the Robinson's clinic na lang at 3:00 pm. in the meantime, we had lunch at a Chinese restaurant at Megamall called Pot and Noodle..... i only was able to take in the softer food stuffs.... not even chewing them but just swallowing them straight!!!

after lunch, we went straight to the clinic at Pioneer Robinsons. there, the dentist told me that it was a case of pain due to too much use of the molar and due to gritting of the teeth when i sleep. she then anesthetized my painful molar tooth and proceeded on filing the dorsal surface of the tooth until it doesn't make contact the ventral surface of the opposing upper molar. of course, with the anesthesia i experienced sudden comfort and loss of pain. she then advised me not to use that molar for chewing, in the meantime.

from the dentist, we went home and stayed home until it was time to go to Quezon City to celebrate Noche Buena (Christmas Eve) with them. we enjoyed the Noche Buena....especially mommy's cooking and the gift-giving part!!! hehehehehehe.

we had the most typical of Noche Buena food: chinese ham, queso de bola, some kind of noodle, tasty bread, macaroni slad, fruit & buko salad, and puto't kutsinta.... plus soda and lots of fruits:

we left quezon city for home at 2:30 am Christmas Morning!!!
