Finding more of the Asian in us.....
while chatting with family today, our friends Nini ( in Paranaque) and her husband Bob (in Bangkok), went online. we started a conference chat with them too and found out from Nini that their cargo from their latest trip to China has arrived and will be available at their Asian Finds store at the Home Zone of Glorietta in Makati. since we've been waiting for this cargo to arrive for the past weeks, after the chat (to family and Bob), we immediately went to Asian Finds.
there we found Nini supervising the unloading, unpacking, and displaying of the new items.....all of them Chinese tea paraphernalia, accessories, and numerous types of tea themsleves. Needless to say, we purchased our share of these things.... so we can enjoy authentic Chinese tea experience at home!!!
actually, our first experience with authentic Chinese tea appreciation, preparation, and enjoyment was during Nini and company's private jewelry show. having tasted several types of Chinese tea, we got hooked.... hence our excitement in having our own paraphernalia at home. but purchasing them was not enough, we have to learn how to use them....to enjoy the entire experience.... and so, last night we also enjoyed being treated again by Nini!!!
the next time we enjoy tea drinking.... it'll be at home.... hehehehehe

wow~ her shop looks so zen-like~ i love tea also~ i'm sure i get that from mommy~ we used to get different types from chinatown and also when we lived with diko and ate nette~
i actually had tea when we went to the Christmas party, while everyone else had coffee~ smiles*
having these teas plus accessories and paraphernalia is very helpful in my after six diet....the act of preparing tea takes my mind off food....and drinking good tea itself calms, soothes, and refreshes me!!!....until i go to sleep.
