Twenty-four months....

it's been 24 months since i was last in Boracay. i was there as a plenary speaker at the annual convention of the Visayas Chapter of the Philippine Society for Microbiology, Inc. after the convention, which lasted for two days, i extended my stay for another four days. those 4 days were the most carefree, most stressfree, and most peaceful days i've had in a long time. i was closest to nature and came to appreciate even more it's beauty in the air, the sea, the earth, the setting sun, and i became more acutely aware of other creatures around me. during that time also, i fully realized the value of having time just for myself.... recharging myself and preparing myself for what may lay ahead....

i'm thankful for those days.... i'm grateful for the opportunity to give to and to receive for myself what i truly deserve.... joy and gladness!!!
