Thank God for....computers and the chat!!!

it's saturday afternoon here and friday night in the US. i've been chatting with Diko & family in California and Mabelle in Pennsylvania since 8:30 this morning. what do we talk about? nothing and everything!!!

this has been a weekly happening for the family.....since jon and i encouraged them to try the chat online when Diko and family came back here to Manila for a visit last February ....and since then, we've been chatting online weekly. we not only chat.... we also have our web cams on so we can see each other ....and early on in our chat, we used the voice chat too!!! it's a lot of fun seeing and talking to each other every week. it seems like we're not far away from each other at all... and we keep in touch on what's the latest among us!!! we even eat our respective lunches and dinners on cam....so we know what each is eating!

this beats by a long shot writing letters and sending pictures by snail mail... which, by the way, all of us in the family are very lazy to do in the first place. it even beats emailing!!! that's why we always make sure that our online connections are always in working order, especially on weekends .....there was one time when our dsl connection was not working.... we had to endure one week of "chatting withdrawal symptoms" -- we resorted to cell fone texting for the meantime!!!! hahahahaha

the longest time we've chatted was from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm!!! imagine that!!! (in fact, i'm still chatting with them while doing this post!!!) nowadays, it's not that long anymore.... i guess maybe because we have this blog too!!! hehehehehe Mabelle & Diko are even interested also in putting up their own blogs.... with jon doing the templates for them!!!

well.... gtg 4 now.... gotta get back to our chat! gonna try to brb l8r!!! lol.
