The Bidding War Starts....
this afternoon, jon and i were at the meat shop site to meet with the contractors as well as the Monterey people for the purpose of accepting bids from the former for the construction of the shop.
there were 3 groups of contractors present: the architectural, the air conditioning, and the signage contractors. they were instructed to submit their bids to us on monday. after which, we'll discuss the bids with the Monterey architect; award the contracts; then, finally construction starts. yay!!!!
we were told the construction will last 30 days.... so if our plans push through.... we're still on track for a May 1st, 2007 Grand Opening Day!!! yipeeeeeeee!!!Labels: Chinese Dim Sum, I'm grateful for...., Meatshop Business

wow! it's great to see so many people working together to get your meat shop ready and open for May 1st! The shop looks so roomy!
yup...our meatshop will be one of the biggest of Monterey's meatshops. the minimum floor area required for a meatshop franchise is only 50 sq. meters. our meat shop's is 90 sq. meters not including the office and open area at the back!! one drawback though, the ceiling will be kinda low....but the contractors will do something about it....to make it work!!!
