Another Sunday Day-Out....

just like a few Sundays ago, today we had a fun day with friends.... just eating and hanging out doing nothing.... (nothing strenuous, at least!!!)

the day started with jon going to his old high school and attending Sunday services at their church.

from there, we proceeded to Nini's place where we started the day with a sumptuous breakfast. cora, a friend who has just come back from working in Bangkok, was already there 'coz she spent the night at Nini's.

after breakfast, we all took out our lap tops and we had a "lap top" session with me updating my blog; nini creating her email stationery; jon teaching rob on everything she wants to know on how to maximize the use of her notebook; and cora playing test twister on hers. thank God for wireless internet access!!! hehehehehehehe.

just before lunch, marissa arrived and joined us.... later, she had her lap top brought to nini's so she could join us. hehehehehehe

lunch, of course, was fabulous.... with the dumplings that we made the night before (i.e., prawn dumplings, smoked salmon dumplings, and crabstick dumplings) and brought along to nini's; jon's newly cooked salt & pepper prawns, and yaya Rose's fried lumpiang gulay, beef asuncion, rellenong bangus, chicken binacol soup, and a dessert of iced minatamis na camoteng kahoy in sweet freshly squeezed coconut milk (not in pic).

the day was capped with dinner at the Nishijin Japanese Restaurant at the Palms Country Club in Filinvest, Alabang with Nini and Rob's other friends - John & Isabella, and Nora

i had tempura teishoku.... which i forgot to take a picture of before i ate it.... and so, here it is after it's been eaten!!! hahahahahahahaha.

all in all, the day was a welcome relief after a relatively long and hectic week!!!
